Detailed Program
Day 1 - Welcome to Havana
Free Private transfer to your accommodation from Havana airport or Varadero.
Meet your local guide who will assist you for the duration of the tour.
Depending on your arrival time, the guide will take you on a walk in the area around your accommodation, showing you some points of interest, and suggesting some of the best cafes, bars and "Paladares".
These privately run restaurants are the best places to experience true local food, drinks and great hospitality.
******************
Day 2 - Exploring Havana
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to start the private Old Havana walking tour.
Old Havana has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1982.
Remodeling is occurring slowly, so while some buildings are excellently restored to their original glory, others have taken on their own look by being left to age naturally, virtually neglected since the Revolution triumphed more than 50 years ago.
During this tour, the guide will take you around through the historic center where you can admire:
The Capitol & The Parque Central.
The Bacardi Building & the Great Havana Theatre.
Obispo Street and El Floridita Bar.
The Ambus Mundos Hotel.
The Plaza de Armas & The Plaza de la Catedral.
La Bodeguita del Medio.
The Plaza San Francisco de Asis & The Plaza Vieja.
You will also have time to enjoy some of the world famous cocktails such as the Mojito, the Cuba Libre, the Pina Colada and the Daiquiri in one of the bars you will visit.
At the end of the walking tour you can have a 2 / 3 hours break for a lunch or for a rest at your accommodation.
Then you will be picked up again by your guide for the 3 hours modern Havana private tour in a classic car. You can choose between a classic convertible (open roof) or a classic sedan if you prefer it to be air conditioned.
While enjoying the ride in the vintage car, you will visit all the most important touristic spots of the Capital such as:
Miramar & Revolution Square (Stop).
The 5th Avenue and its colonial mansions.
Havana Forest (Stop).
Colon Cemetery & University of Havana.
Hotel Nacional (Stop).
China Town, Central Park & Paseo del Prado.
Malecon & Havana Bay.
El Morro Fortress & Havana Christ (Stop).

You’ll see his eclectic personal objects, thousands of books, manuscripts, and photographs, as well as some animal trophies, bagged on his frequent safaris.
******************
Few hours at the beach
The driver will take you to Megano or Santa Maria del Mar, two among the nicest Playas del Este white sand beaches where you can relax, sunbathe, swim in the turquoise waters and have a ride in a catamaran or a kayak.
