Detailed Program
Day 1 - Welcome to Havana
Private transfer to your accommodation from Havana airport or Varadero.
Freshen up and get comfortable.
Meet your local guide who will assist you for the duration of the tour.
Depending on your arrival time, the guide will take you on a walk in the area around your accommodation, showing you some points of interest, and suggesting some great bars, cafes with live music and paladares.
These privately run restaurants are the best places to experience true local food, drinks and great hospitality.

Day 2 - Soroa & Las terrazas
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide in your private classic or modern hardtop car (based your preference) to reach Las Terrazas Complex, a rural community of sustainable development located in the Sierra del Rosario, World Biosphere Reserve.
This is one of the most beautiful ecosystems in Cuba.
Here you can visit the old coffee plantations, take a bath in the San Juan River, enjoy some hiking, visit the museum of Polo Montanez (a local famous musician), rent a row boat or have the breathtaking zipline experience.

Next stop will be Soroa, which is famous for the variety and the excellent conservation of its flora and fauna and also for a beautiful 22 mt waterfall, known as the Cuban Rainbow.
First you can visit the Orchid nursery botanical garden with more than 25 000 orchid species from different parts of the world, including around 100 Cuban species.
Then you will have a nice walking to the viewpoint from where you can enjoy a lovely view over the Sierra del Rosario.
Finally you'll get to the waterfall where,eventually, you can have a refreshing bath in the natural pond.
Around 4.30 / 5.00 pm you will leave Soroa to reach Vinales where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Day 3 - Cayo Jutias / San Thomas Caves
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to reach Cayo Jutias, a haven of peace and tranquility and one of the most beautiful beach in Cuba with its white sand and turquoise water.
On your way to Cayo Jutias it is possible to have an optional stop at the San Thomas Caves, which is considered the largest Cave System in Cuba and the second largest in America!
Cayo Jutias is so thoroughly untouched and undeveloped that it's mostly mangrove forests and deserted shores.
It is also home to a cool “starfish beach,” populated with hundreds of bright red starfish.
Despite its small size, Cayo Jutias has a small amount of infrastructure that makes a visit more comfortable than pure adventure.
A few local restaurants serve delicious seafood dishes like lobster, a rental shack provides kayaks and snorkeling gear, and chairs and umbrellas for rent, so you can enjoy an entire day here.
At the end of the day you will dropped off at your accommodation in Vinales.

Day 4 - Exploring Vinales Valley
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by the driver and your guide to explore Vinales and its wonderful Valley!
Our standard itinerary includes:
Los Jazmines Hotel and its "viewpoint" (from where it is possible to admire the wonderful Mogotes and the whole valley).
Then a visit to the Indio Cave and the Palenque Cave.
After that...you can have an optional farm to table organic lunch at one of the best paladares in the area or proceed directly to the Prehistoric Wall.
Finally you will end the tour at a Tobacco Farm & Planation where you can enjoy a hiking or an optional horseback ride through the valley or and assist the processing of tobacco leaves from sowing to the production of fine cigars.
You will be also offered a free handmade cigar.
However, since this is a completely private tour, if you don't want to follow the classic itinerary, you will be totally free to decide where to go and what to do.

Day 5 - Havana City Tour
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to start your private Old Havana walking tour.
Old Havana has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1982.
Remodeling is occurring slowly, so while some buildings are excellently restored to their original glory, others have taken on their own look by being left to age naturally, virtually neglected since the Revolution triumphed more than 50 years ago.

During this tour, the guide will take you around through the historic center where you can admire:

Day 6 - Havana
Cigar Factory Tour
After your breakfast, if you would like to have the Cigar Factory Tour, your guide will take you to one of the cigar factories open to the public on that particular day.
You'll have an interesting tour inside the factory where you will be explained the whole process involved in the production of a cigar.

Otherwise you will go directly to visit Fusterlandia, a small community on the west side of Havana, though the neighborhood’s actual name is Jaimanitas. The entire district is decorated with murals, ceramic mosaics, and colorful quirky sculptures.

Few hours at the beach
The driver will take you to Megano or Santa Maria del Mar, two among the nicest Playas del Este white sand beaches where you can relax, sunbathe, swim in the turquoise waters and have a ride in a catamaran or a kayak.
This is also a very good place to have some fresh coconut water and a great seafood lunch which can be served directly under your umbrella.

Ernest Hemingway Tour
First of all you will visit Cojimar fishermen village, which inspired Hemingway's best seller " The old man and the sea ", where you can see the memorial built in his honor and, if you want, you can have a lunch at "La Terraza restaurant", Hemingway's favorite place for lobsters.
Then you will be taken to Finca Vigia, Hemingway's country home in Cuba, where he spent twenty-one of his most productive years becoming a titan of English literature. His house remains just as it was when he lived in it.
You’ll see his eclectic personal objects, thousands of books, manuscripts, and photographs, as well as some animal trophies, bagged on his frequent safaris.
At the end of the tour, you'll be dropped off at your hotel to freshen up and get ready for the evening.
Around 8.00 pm you will be picked up again by the guide and the driver to attend the Cañonazo ceremony.
It takes place each night at the Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabaña, an 18th-century fortress on Havana's harbor.
The cañonazo itself is the firing of a cannon over the bay at 9.00 pm sharp , but leading up to it is a really interesting ceremony featuring actors dressed in 18th century military garb.
At the end of the ceremony you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 7 - Bay of Pigs / Cienaga de Zapata
After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to reach the Bay of Pigs.
Here you have the opportunity to visit one of the most important ecosystems in the Caribbean known as the Cienaga de Zapata Peninsula.
First of all you'll stop at La Boca de Guamà , where you can visit the biggest crocodile farm in Latin America and (if the boat is operating) you can reach the Old Tainos Aboriginal Village.
After you will stop at the Cueva de los Peces (Fish Cave), a 70 mt deep sinkhole filled with multicolored fish that come in through a subterranean passage, where you can swim and do some snorkeling.

Then you can choose to have an optional lunch at one of the local paladares which offer superb traditional food (the area is very famous for crab meat and lobsters) at a very reasonable price or to continue your tour by visiting the museum of "Bay of Pigs victory" first (if you are interested in that) or going directly to Playa Larga Beach where you can relax and swim in the amazing turquoise water.
If you add the optional scuba diving, you will be having it either at the Fish Cave or Punta Perdiz.
Otherwise, you are free to ask your guide to take you anywhere else in the area.

Day 8 - Cienaga de Zapata / Trinidad
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to reach the Laguna de Las Salinas, where you can spot dozens of exotic birds including pelicans, black cormorans and the amazing Pink flamingos.
A professional park guide will come with you to provide you with lots of interesting information and help you distinguish the various bird species.
Then, on the way to Trinidad, we will stop at " El Cubano Natural Park ", a truly paradise for lovers of ecotourism, hiking and Nature.
The Park has an extension of 2 kilometers long, and has many attractive sites such as the Guaurabo river, the Cimarrones de Javira trail, El Ranchon Los Almendros, and the Javira waterfall.
Finally, we"ll reach Trinidad where you will be dropped off at your accommodation to freshen up and get ready for the evening.

Day 9 - Trinidad

Day 10 - Santa Clara / Cienfuegos
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to reach Santa Clara.
Once in Santa Clara you will visit the Mausoleum where the remains of Che Guevara and 29 other guerrillas who lost their lives with him in Bolivia are buried.
Then you will be taken to the "derailed train", an open sculpture park, where you can see an obelisk dedicated to Che Guevara, and a monument to the bulldozer used by Guevara and his soldiers to derail the train.
Then we will continue our journey towards Cienfuegos.
Cienfuegos is known as the Pearl of Cuba and you will have a complete sightseeing of the City.
First of all you can have a walk on the lovely "Malecon", the long scenic sea walk.
Then you will visit the Tomas Terry Theatre, one of Cuba’s oldest and best preserved, a beautiful church called "Catedral de la Puricima Concepción", the monument of Benny Moré and the amazing " Palacio del Valle.
Finally, before heading to Trinidad, we'll have a quick drive through the upper-class neighborhood of Punta Gorda, where you can admire its beautiful colonial mansions.
Then you will visit the Tomas Terry Theatre, one of Cuba’s oldest and best preserved, a beautiful church called "Catedral de la Puricima Concepción", the monument of Benny Moré and the amazing " Palacio del Valle.
Finally, before heading to Trinidad, we'll have a quick drive through the upper-class neighborhood of Punta Gorda, where you can admire its beautiful colonial mansions.
